The Beach Hut Deli is new to South Lake Tahoe but already it is a major league hit! This author has already dined there three times and have sampled a different sandwich from their extensive menu each visit. The food is fresh and delicious if not a bargain ($7.00-$10.00 per sandwich). The atmosphere is great and you truly feel that you are in Hawaii, Santa Cruz or Australia getting ready to “Hang Ten” or just loaf in the sand! Try The Beach Hut Deli the next time you are visiting South Lake Tahoe or if you are a local make it a point to give these local owners a try. Brook and Chris Hernandez are long time locals and know how to treat the “natives”!
