If you are booking a South Lake Tahoe vacation rental this summer and wondering what your shopping options are, we have you covered. Whether you are coming from a big city filled with every store imaginable or a small town with few to choose from, our quaint mountain town has a little something for everybody. The best part is that we have places to go all throughout town so no matter where your South Lake Tahoe vacation rental is located, you have a place to go minutes away. Whether it is a last minute need or you simply want to splurge, read the below list to see what we have to choose from!
If your vacation rental in South Lake Tahoe is located on the Nevada side, Ski Run or Heavenly Valley, the casino core and Heavenly Village will be your best bet! In fact, there is no shortage of unique boutiques. According to https://www.easymobilecasino.com/, every casino should have its own retail offerings ranging from local t shirts to cute dresses. One of our favorites is J’s Boutique in Harrah’s. The space may be small, but there is everything from Steve Madden shoes to affordably priced jeans to designer dresses with everything in between for all ages, trends and budgets. This locally owned and operated store also happens to have some of the best customer service! Simple tell the stylist on staff what you are looking for and they can get you outfitted right away. In the Village next door, S.W.A.K. has been around for forever and has quite the following with locals and visitors alike. One of the things we love about this larger retail space is the affordable price points with designer items mixed in AND the cute and trendy accessories. There is also men’s fashions available as well. What a Girl Wants is also located in the Village and it features specialty items such as lingerie, loungewear, sleepwear and swimsuits. The price points for these designer tags are higher, but they have some unique items that are hard to find elsewhere, and they have some amazing sales. Next door to the Village in the Raley’s shopping center are two options to choose from: Savvy and Side Street Boutique. Both stores have been around for an incredibly long time and offer a variety of items. Savvy is geared more towards the younger crowd with super trendy items. Everything from crop tops to prom dresses to Free People can be found here. Side Street caters to more of a classic crowd with something for every age group. Their formal selection is also quite large!
If your vacation rental in South Lake Tahoe is located more towards the Y, Sierra Tract, Al Tahoe or any neighborhood on the other end of town, there are more unique options. The Village Board Shop has all things skate and surf as well as the largest swimwear selection in South Lake. Gaialicious has some sweet, free spirited items in limited quantities that locals love to shop. Malena Boutique is located further down towards the Y on Highway 50 and has a very affordable, unique range of clothing. If you are looking for more items on a budget, we have a Ross Dress for Less and a TJ Maxx that locals love to browse.
If you prefer clothing made for the elements, we have options minutes from every vacation rental in South Lake Tahoe. Patagonia, North Face, Sports LTD and Blue Zone have everything for the outdoor enthusiast! No matter where you end up booking your vacation rental in South Lake Tahoe, there are plenty of shopping options right around the corner!
