SnowGlobe Music Festival brought more than 30,000 people to the shores of South Lake Tahoe last New Year’s weekend (2011), to share in their love of music, over the course of three epic nights. The Lake Tahoe festival, now in its second year, will feature a range of electronic, hip-hop and rock acts. Chromeo, Beats Antique, Polica, Flosstradamus, Deadmau5 and Wiz Khalifa will be among the artists performing, with SnowGlobe set to be held from December 29-31 at the Lake Tahoe Community College campus in South Lake Tahoe, CA. The Lake Tahoe Community College is located near the intersection of Lake Tahoe Blvd./ Highway 50 and Al Tahoe Blvd. SnowGlobe will be offering a shuttle service all weekend to and from designated parking locations throughout South Lake Tahoe, to ensure everyone has a safe and environmentally sound New Year’s Eve weekend.

The SnowGlobe Music Festival offers a unique concert experience by combining music and mountains to create an unstoppable force of fun this New Year’s Eve. The vibrant and unique landscape of South Lake Tahoe is the perfect setting for the adventure-driven festival. With almost 9,000 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain, festival goers can hit the slopes by day and shows by night; and with the festival grounds located just three miles from Stateline, NV, gamers can take advantage of the five 24-hour casinos that Tahoe has to offer.

The fest, minutes from Tahoe’s range of ski slopes, will also feature food, art and winter sports. Spend this New Year’s Eve in gorgeous Lake Tahoe surrounded by picturesque mountains and great music at SnowGlobe!

La Cantina  will be  celebrating from 7 – 9 pm on Saturday. Every bought drink  gives you a raffle and you can enter to win prizes with the grand prize being a beach cruiser bike!

South Lake Tahoe Family Resource Center will be hosting their 9th annual Cinco De Mayo celebration at Heavenly’s California Main Lodge.  There will be a myriad of delicious food, raffles, prizes, a silent auction and even salsa dancing! The ticket cost for the festival is $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

A remodeled Cabo Wabo Cantina at Harvey’s Casino will also be a throwing a bash with a whole range of Tequila brands and Mexican menu.  Also, Mont Bleu will be hosting a ‘Taco Eat Off Challenge’ at noon with $500 awarded to the winner.   Come, pick up a margarita and stay awhile won’t you?
