We arrived safely home after a wonderful stay in Lake Tahoe country. The smoky haze was not a problem even on the worst day–certainly better than rainy weather. The accommodations were more than adequate. A “chirping” smoke detector in the trundle bedroom downstairs was easily corrected by replacing the battery. We swapped a few light bulbs around to improve lighting at one of the vanities. On the hotter days, having the fans available was really nice. Also, the motion sensing light at the garage made finding the keyhole very easy at night.

We put out two garbage cans Monday morning before we left so hope the cleaning people got them returned to the garage. We got a chuckle out of the fact that some of the trash cans had house numbers other than “3224″ on them.
